The Shadows Gala is an annual event organized by Shiro Land to celebrate the vast creative possibilities offered by Second Life. It is a themed event dedicated to the world of darkness and the mysterious creatures it harbors.

On a night unlike any other... An evening where darkness rains fear and awe, in the darkest night of October, as the gates of shadows open to welcome every creature of the night.

The winner of the best performance
Will receive 150,000 L$ and the second place secures 70,000 L$. 20 costumes will be carefully selected from the audience, each winning 10,000 L$. And the surprises do not end... treasure chests are hidden across the land, and whoever finds one will receive 1,000 L$ for each discovery.

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM SLT
Grand Opening - Waltz Dance
The gala opens with an elegant waltz performance, setting the tone for the evening of mystery and elegance.
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM SLT
House Presentations & Performances
Each house presents their creative performance, showcasing their unique theme, story, and dark creatures. Judges will evaluate creativity, presentation, and atmosphere.
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM SLT
DJ Dance Party
The dance floor opens with live DJ performance. Celebrate with fellow attendees as the night reaches its peak energy.
2:30 PM - 2:45 PM SLT
Results Announcement
The winning house will be announced. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative and impressive performance of the evening.
2:45 PM - 3:30 PM SLT
Treasure Hunt
The final activity begins! Search throughout The Shadows Keep for hidden treasure chests. May the most observant hunter prevail!

The Concept of the Event

The organizers are the House of Shiro, and this family invites all dark clans and houses to a grand dance celebration.

It is considered one of the most prestigious and elegant events, where attendees are expected to prepare meticulously, paying special attention to their appearance and attire in a way that suits the grandeur of the gala.

A beautiful competition is held during the event, where each house (or clan) is tasked with presenting themselves to the audience and the host family in the most creative way possible.

They may use sound and visual effects, craft a unique atmosphere, and tell a short story that introduces their essence to the attendees.

To form a house or a clan, participants must choose an appropriate name and theme. They are free to embody any creature of darkness — or even create an entirely new species if they wish.

The core idea is to unleash creativity without limits, allowing everyone to craft a unique and unforgettable experience for all.

Requirements & Recommendations

Conditions:

  • Choosing a suitable name for the competing house or clan.
  • Each participating house must have at least 2 members, preferably no more than 5.
  • Adhering to appropriate attire that matches both the elegance of the gala and the theme of the creatures represented by the house.
  • Registering immediately once registration opens and submitting the names of all participating members for each house.
  • Assigning one representative from each house to receive the prize in case of winning.

Recommendations:

Second Life offers endless opportunities for creativity — so do not place any limits on your imagination. Focus on presenting something fresh and impressive.

We recommend keeping your team to no more than 5 members to maintain better control over movements, especially if your presentation includes dances or animations; the fewer the members, the better the overall performance.

If you have a larger group, we suggest dividing it into multiple competing teams to increase your chances of winning and to deliver a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
